SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE MONTOUR PRESERVE
The staff and volunteers of the Montour Area Recreation Commission (MARC) are working hard every day to care for the Montour Preserve and other parks and trails throughout Montour County. Show the world that you’re helping to make your ‘MARC’ by donating today. 100% of your donation will go directly to caring for the Montour Preserve. In return, you’ll get our commemorative Montour Preserve 50th Anniversary sticker so you can show the world you’re doing your part to care for what matters to you.

The Montour Area Recreation Commission is working hard to ensure the long-term viability of the parks, trails and other outdoor recreational opportunities in and around Montour County. If you believe our efforts are worthy of your support, please consider making a donation today.
MARC has established five funds with the Community Giving Foundation – Danville to enable donors to make tax-deductible contributions (to the extent allowed by law) to the project(s) of their choosing.
Donors wishing to support MARC’s immediate needs are encouraged to contribute to the Montour Area Recreation Commission – Agency Fund. Grants from this fund are typically used to support MARC’s ongoing operations and short-term special projects.
Donors wishing to support MARC’s operation of the Montour Preserve are encouraged to contribute to the Montour Area Recreation Commission – Montour Preserve Fund. Grants from this fund are used to support MARC’s operation and maintenance of the Montour Preserve.
Donors wishing to support the revitalization efforts of Washingtonville are encouraged to contribute to the Montour Area Recreation Commission – Washingtonville Revitalization Fund. Grants from this fund are used to support park improvements, publicly accessible sites, and outdoor recreational opportunities in Washingtonville Borough, Montour County.
Donors wishing to support the creation of a pump track at Hopewell Park are encouraged to contribute to the Montour Area Recreation Commission – Hopewell Park Pump Track Fund. Grants from this fund will support the design, permitting, construction, and ongoing maintenance for the pump track, bicycle jumps and skills areas, and related parking areas to be located in Mahoning Township, Montour County.
Finally, donors wishing to support the long-term sustainability of the Montour Area Recreation Commission are encouraged to contribute to the Montour Area Recreation Commission Agency Endowment Fund. Donations made to this fund will support MARC’s efforts in perpetuity, investing the donor’s contributions while annually granting to MARC a portion of the earnings.
